Pediatric Hospitalist opening in Sioux City, Iowa Located on Tri-State border of Iowa, Nebraska, and South Dakota Position Details : - Full-time, permanent position- Employed- Established practice- Competitive compensation and benefits package. Including : signing bonus, relocation, 401K match, CME allowance, and time off- Pediatric Subspecialty Support : Pediatric Radiology, Pediatric Cardiology, Pediatric Infectious Disease, Neonatology.- Other support : General Surgery, Orthopedics and many other subspecialties available for consultation- 12-bed pediatric inpatient unit with brand-new remodel- Fully integrated system with clinics and hospitals on Epic EMR to improve care coordination- Average daily census of 5-7 in summer and 7-10 in winter (combination of newborn nursery and inpatient)- Round on unassigned newborns in newborn nursery (no NICU or Level 2 nursery responsibilities), circumcisions, ED and direct admissions of pediatric age patients, ED consultation when requested- No delivery attendance required.
