Job Summary :

The Associate Maintenance Mechanic supports the maintenance team in servicing and maintaining pharmaceutical packaging and facility equipment. This entry-level role is ideal for individuals with mechanical aptitude who are eager to learn and grow in a regulated manufacturing environment. The associate mechanic will assist experienced craftspeople, follow safety and documentation procedures, and contribute to equipment reliability and uptime. Key Responsibilities :

• Assist in basic maintenance and repair of production and facility equipment under supervision.
• Follow all safety procedures and report any incidents or unsafe conditions.
• Participate in safety programs such as Safe Start and B-Safe.
• Document maintenance activities using Good Documentation Practices (GDP).
• Communicate effectively with team members and other departments to support smooth operations.
• Use maintenance systems (e.g., GMARS) to search for work orders and parts, and enter basic maintenance notes.
• Maintain compliance with training requirements and participate in ongoing development.
• Support shift-to-shift communication and help identify potential equipment or process issues.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area and assist with inventory and parts tracking.
