Overview

Wylander Solutions, a recruiting company specializing in the disaster restoration and construction industry, is seeking a Construction Project Manager in the Charleston, SC area.

Compensation and Benefits

Responsibilities

  • Oversee and manage the project cycle for rebuilding projects, providing direction and coordination of all field activities related to the installation teams and any coordinated subcontracts
  • Manage the project schedule throughout the project lifecycle
  • Secure any unique materials, permits, and / or equipment required to complete the project
  • Ability to manage reconstruction projects
  • Negotiate restoration services and insurance claims settlements
  • Plan, organize, and manage crews and subcontractors
  • Participate in design, process, and permit submittal
  • Establish and maintain client relationships
  • Complete monthly expense reports
  • Attend all appropriate company meetings
  • Attend regular company-sponsored training sessions
  • Additional duties as needed
  • Track job budgets, communicate job status, and provide written reports
  • Monitor production progress daily and on-site inspections
  • Provide superior customer service as the point of contact for the customer and / or adjustor
  • Assign projects to crew members and complete all appropriate paperwork and written instructions daily

    • Requirements

  • 3+ years' experience as a project manager
  • Ability to manage budgets and schedules
  • Possess exceptional organizational and planning skills (detail-oriented)
  • Ability to recognize and solve problems independently
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills
  • Self-motivated, responsible and accountable
  • Xactimate knowledge a plus but not required
  • Must be able to pass a background check and have a clean driving record
