A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A FLEET & FACILITIES MANAGER
You'll start your day reviewing fleet dashboards, maintenance schedules, and fuel usage to ensure all vehicles and equipment are ready for job sites. You'll visit facilities or yards to oversee repairs, coordinate with vendors, and ensure safety compliance. Throughout the day, you'll collaborate with field leadership to confirm equipment readiness, negotiate vendor contracts, manage budgets, and plan upcoming fleet acquisitions and facility projects. Each day blends problem-solving, operational oversight, and long-term planning to keep operations running smoothly.
