About the Role

The Core UX team is responsible for owning and maintaining our Twitch Design System that supports building and maintaining a cross-platform live streaming service. We are seeking a Senior Design Systems Designer to join our Core UX team at Twitch.

In this role, you will support the evolution and maintenance of Twitch's design system. You will ensure consistency and efficiency across our cross-platform live streaming service while collaborating with cross-functional partners, representing our design system to the design organization.

Your work will directly impact millions of streamers and viewers, shaping the future of live, interactive entertainment. We're looking for someone who champions human-centered design and can balance playful experiences with systematic thinking.

You Will :

• Collaborate with designers and engineers to evolve and maintain Twitch's design system and product visual language.
• Lead the creation and refinement of UI components, patterns, and template libraries.
• Translate visual language principles into clear, actionable documentation and guidelines for widespread adoption by design and engineering teams.
• Participate in design system working sessions and workshops with product teams.
• Contribute to the strategic roadmap for the design system's evolution.
• Advocate for accessibility standards and ensure compliance across components.
