CNC Mill  Programmer / Operator

Position Type :  Direct hire – Long Term

Location :  Troy, MI

Industry :  Aerospace Manufacturing

Environment :  Precision Manufacturing Facility

Pay :  Based on Experience (Overtime pay : 1.5x)

Shift :

  • 1st Shift :  6 : 00 AM – 4 : 30 PM (Monday–Friday) and 6 : 00 AM – 12 : 00 PM (Saturday).
  • 2nd Shift :  4 : 00 PM – 3 : 30 AM (Monday–Thursday) and 4 : 00 PM – 12 : 00 AM (Friday).

    • Position Summary : We are seeking experienced CNC Mill Setup / Operators to join our team in a precision aerospace manufacturing environment. The role involves operating and setting up CNC milling machines, performing inspections, and maintaining a safe and efficient workplace. Position Responsibilities :

  • Operate and run two CNC milling machines based on provided programs, work instructions, and blueprints.
  • Set up CNC mill machines for specific jobs using provided programs and instructions.
  • Understand and apply G-Code programming.
  • Perform adjustments to maintain quality parts at the required production rate.
  • Conduct first-piece and in-process inspections using the necessary inspection equipment.
  • Document manufactured measurements as required by work instructions.
  • Maintain equipment through regularly scheduled preventative maintenance.
  • Follow all safety procedures to ensure a safe working environment.

    • Position Requirements :

  • Proficient understanding of blueprints, including GD&T.
  • Skilled in using inspection equipment for quality checks.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work well in a team environment.
  • Good judgment and decision-making abilities.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Preferred :  Experience with Haas machines.
  • Education & Experience : Minimum of 2 years of experience as a CNC Mill Operator.Must be a U.S. citizen.
