job_description.job_card.job_descriptiono Prepare surfaces for concrete work – i.e. final grading o Concrete layout activities. Establish elevations from given benchmarks to provide top of wall, top of column, top of slab, etc. o Forming & fine grading of flatwork, sub-grade o Forming & assembly of footing / foundation forms. o Pour & Finish to project specific specifications – Flatwork & Foundations Understand plans, specifications. Ensure specifications and regulations outlined in architectural and engineering plans are followed. Perform and implement project specific Quality Assurance and Quality Control (QAQC) practices to ensure projects are delivered project specifications and of quality craftsmanship. Supplemental work will consist of light carpentry and selective demolition. Verify all materials reflect project specific approved submittals along with ensuring design drawings and shop drawings coincide prior to installation. A strong moral compass (as best represented by our Core Values) Knowledge of the concrete process, ability to from, pour, finish, and protect concrete. Ability to finish concrete to all specifications. (broomed, burned tight, etc.) Capacity to layout, set, and strip formwork for footings & foundations. Knowledge of the process and able to pour concrete in adverse weather conditions. Ability to read and cross-reference a multitude of project plans and other project documents against work being installed and implemented. Competently utilize various tools and equipment to ensure project quality, performance, and cleanliness. High School Diploma or GED 5+ years of experience with Commercial Concrete Health card for commercial vehicle needs.
