Travel : RN - Surgery

Alamogordo, NM

13 weeks

SHIFT : DAYS- 7AM-7PM

START : ASAP

Blocked scheduling accommodated :   No

Weekend Requirement :  Yes

On Call Requirement :  Yes, every other week

Floating Requirement / Locations :  Will rotate float to Med / Surg tele if not needed in unit

Nurse / Patient Ratio :  1 : 5

REQUIRED :

Licenses, Registrations, or Certifications

• BLS required
• RN License in state of employment or compact

RN Ortho Surgery : type of patients includes ortho, joint replacements, fractures, along with shoulders and podiatry cases

Summary :

The competent Nurse, in the same or similar clinical setting, practices independently and demonstrates an awareness of all relevant aspects of a situation. Provides routine and complex care, with the ability to on long-range goals or plans. Continues to develop the ability to cope with and manage contingencies of clinical nursing. Makes appropriate assignments and delegates to other care providers as a means to help manage the clinical situation.
