Description :

The Staff Accountant is a crucial role within our organization, responsible for assisting in financial record-keeping, reporting, and analysis. This position plays an essential role in maintaining accurate financial records and supporting the finance team.

Responsibilities :

• General Ledger Maintenance : Assist in maintaining the general ledger by recording financial transactions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and journal entries.
• Accounts Payable : Process and verify invoices, payments to vendors, and expense reports.
• Accounts Receivable : Monitor and follow up on accounts receivable, prepare invoices, and track customer payments.
• Bank Reconciliation : Reconcile bank and credit card statements to ensure accuracy and resolve discrepancies.
• Financial Reporting : Assist in preparing financial statements, reports, and budgets.
• Expense Management : Track and categorize expenses, ensuring compliance with company policies and budgetary guidelines.
• Audit Support : Prepare documents and support auditors during financial audits.
• Tax Compliance : Assist in preparing and filing tax returns, including sales tax and payroll tax.
• Financial Analysis : Perform financial analysis and variance analysis to identify trends and areas for improvement.
• Documentation : Maintain organized financial records, files, and documentation.
• Process Improvement : Identify opportunities to streamline financial processes and improve efficiency.
• Ad Hoc Projects : Assist with special financial projects and assignments as requested.
