Sr. Project Engineer - Civil Engineer ( PE )

Job Description and Profile The senior project engineer will assist with managing and overseeing design, reporting, and planning for residential and commercial development sites. This role has direct involvement with senior management staff, and must demonstrate strong leadership, communication, technical, and organizational skills. Duties and Responsibilities Technical Site grading. Road design. Storm water conveyance, quantity, and quality modeling. TESC system design. Land entitlement and site layout. Specification preparation. Engineer’s estimates. Other civil related design elements. Management Manage assigned projects. Coordination with subconsultants and jurisdictional agencies. Provide mentorship for junior engineering staff. Skills and Specifications Ability to work with engineering staff on all levels and interact and meet with clients, jurisdictional staff, and technical staff. Solution-oriented problem-solving abilities. Staying current on all civil related codes and design requirements. Education, Experience, Qualifications BS Degree in Civil Engineering. 6+ years civil engineering design / engineering experience. Construction field experience preferred.
