The University of Colorado Denver is seeking a qualified Plumber to join its Facilities Management team. This position operates under the general supervision of the Trades Shop Supervisor and is responsible for performing skilled plumbing work across campus facilities. The role includes the maintenance, repair, installation, and modification of plumbing systems such as water lines, sewer systems, water heaters, softeners, and restroom fixtures.

Key Responsibilities :

• Install, maintain, and repair plumbing systems and components in university buildings
• Diagnose and resolve plumbing issues in a timely and professional manner
• Modify and upgrade existing plumbing infrastructure to meet operational needs
• Ensure all work complies with applicable codes, safety regulations, and university standards
• Collaborate with other trades and departments to support campus-wide maintenance and operations
• Maintain accurate documentation of work performed, materials used, and service records

Work Location : Onsite this role is expected to work onsite and is located in Denver, Colorado.

Qualifications :

Substitution : Successful completion of a formalized plumbing apprenticeship program, or higher level, non-correspondence coursework in the same fields from an accredited vocational school or university may substitute for the experience on a year-for-year basis.

Colorado law requires that candidates for state government jobs be residents of Colorado at the time of application.
