  • We are currently hiring a highly accomplished SAT / ACT Tutor and College Counselor for a part-time, in-person role.
  • This position involves working directly with high school students to prepare them for standardized tests and guide them through the college admissions process.

  • You should be confident in your ability to deliver results and build meaningful relationships with students and families.

    • Key Responsibilities :

  • Deliver 1-on-1 SAT / ACT instruction Create and implement personalized tutoring plans Teach strategies to improve test-taking confidence and performance Provide college counseling support (essays, applications, school selection) Stay current on test formats and admissions trends Track student progress and communicate with families and staff Foster a motivating and supportive learning environment Requirements : Bachelor’s degree in education, counseling, or a related field Demonstrated success in SAT / ACT tutoring and college counseling Deep understanding of standardized test strategies Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Reliable transportation within the Boston area Availability for evenings, weekends, and some daytime flexibility Compensation & Benefits : Competitive hourly rate based on experience Administrative support—no billing or scheduling responsibilities Inclusive and supportive work culture Professional development opportunities Equal Opportunity Commitment : Livius Prep is an intentional equal opportunity employer.
