Inspection Technician Job Duties :

  • The Inspection operator will operate various pieces of equipment and will perform a variety of duties to prepare material for storage or shipment.
  • Work within area of responsibility through the use of visual management methods and take corrective actions as necessary to meet operating objectives such as product quality and production output expectations.
  • Hazardous waste management

Inspection Technician Job Requirements :

  • Must be able to demonstrate strong general mechanical skills.
  • Must be trainable and be able to demonstrate acceptable levels of comprehension for inspection of processes.
  • Must pass Level 1 UT and ECT test
  • High School Diploma or GED is required.
  • Previous manufacturing experience is preferred
  • Must be able to read, write and perform basic math calculations without difficulty or additional assistance
  • The employee must occasionally lift and / or move up to fifty pounds.

    • Work Environment

  • May be exposed to moderate noise intensity
  • May be exposed to noise, dust, fumes, airborne particles, smoke (Not over OSHA permissible exposure levels)
  • Will be required to wear applicable PPE
  • Able and willing to stand 90% of the time, stooping, bending, stretching, and engaging in awkward positioning

    • Must be able to train on 1st or 3rd shift for this 2nd shift opening
