Job Description :
The HR Payroll Manager oversees accurate and timely payroll processing, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations. This role manages payroll operations, leads a payroll team, and collaborates with HR, Finance, and vendors to maintain effective systems and processes.
Key Responsibilities :
- Lead and supervise Payroll Specialists.
- Process and approve multi-state, bi-weekly payroll for salaried / hourly staff.
- Ensure accurate tax withholdings, benefits deductions, and garnishments.
- Maintain payroll compliance and handle audits and reporting.
- Administer year-end reporting (W-2, ACA).
- Coordinate with HR on new hires, terminations, salary changes, and leave.
- Manage payroll systems (HRIS / payroll software) and resolve discrepancies.
- Provide support for budgeting, forecasting, and process improvements.
Requirements :
Bachelor’s in Accounting, HR, or Business (CPP preferred).5+ years payroll experience, 2+ years supervisory.Knowledge of labor laws, payroll systems (e.g., ADP, Paylocity), and multi-state payroll.Strong leadership, analytical, and communication skills.
