Operations Manager - Pharmaceutical Manufacturing

JOB DESCRIPTION

We are seeking an Operations Manager to support a large, state-of-the-art contract development and manufacturing organization (CDMO) located in Holly Springs, NC. This facility is one of the largest end-to-end biopharmaceutical manufacturing sites in North America, specializing in large-scale cell culture production and advanced biologics manufacturing. This is a contract position requiring daily onsite presence, working in close partnership with the customer’s hiring and people managers. The Operations Manager will lead and manage Insight Global consultants / contractors only, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations, team engagement, and process improvement. This role serves as a critical liaison between the CDMO customer, Insight Global, and Evergreen, acting as the central point of coordination to ensure alignment, communication, and collaboration across all stakeholders.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

• 5–10 years in an operational management role, required experience in a pharmaceutical manufacturing environment.
• Background in supporting technical operations such as maintenance, site utilities, HVAC, or instrumentation.
• Strong understanding of industrial or facility operations and ability to communicate effectively with technical teams.
• Proven ability to manage diverse skillsets and roles in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience creating and implementing SOPs, policies, and process improvements.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for cross-functional collaboration.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and ability to develop reporting dashboards.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to make decisions under pressure.
• Ability to work onsite daily and maintain alignment with multiple stakeholders.
• Familiarity with KPIs, performance metrics, and continuous improvement methodologies.

Compensation :

$50 / hr to $56 / hr.

Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
