Intramotev is seeking an experienced Supply Chain Specialist to join our team to support our growing demands in the development and production of self-propelled rail vehicles. This role is crucial for establishing and managing our supply chain, from procurement and vendor management to internal logistics and inventory control within our manufacturing environment. This is a full-time, in-office position based out of St. Louis, MO.

Key responsibilities include managing all procurement activities, developing and managing vendor relationships, overseeing internal material management, utilizing and maintaining the Odoo ERP system, collaborating with engineering, manufacturing, and finance teams, developing and implementing supply chain strategies, and working with the quality team to ensure incoming materials meet specifications.

Team dynamics involve working within dynamic teams on diverse projects, fostering excellent interpersonal and communication skills, adapting to evolving project objectives, and engaging in occasional domestic travel to support supplier engagement and integration activities.

Basic qualifications include a Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, or a related field, at least 5 years of experience in supply chain management, procurement, or materials management, hands-on experience with an ERP system, willingness to expand into technical areas, open-mindedness, fluency in both written and verbal English, and being a U.S. person.

Preferred qualifications include working knowledge of Odoo ERP systems, experience in a manufacturing or production environment, experience in directly applicable industry, experience negotiating and managing vendor contracts, knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, and experience working in a startup or fast-paced, high-growth environment.
