What You'll Be Doing

• The safety and health of employees take precedence over all duties of this job.
• Checks and verifies tags / marking / labels for accuracy.
• Loads / unloads trucks; processes and maintains appropriate paperwork.
• Maintains parts inventory; assists with monthly inventory; arranges and sorts warehouse stock.
• Operates Lift Trucks and moves materials between plants and warehouse and to shipping or storage areas.
• Follows and enforces all PIT guidelines (safety and PM requirements are completed)
• Moves parts to designated area.
• Reports mechanical, electrical problems.
• Provide relief for production associates on breaks, lunch, etc.
• Maintains cleanliness of areas.
• Follows established departmental policies, procedures, and objectives, continuous quality improvement objectives, and safety, environmental standards.
• Trains new employees performing related work.
• Check daily summary sheets
• Performs all duties in a manner that demonstrates the highest level of quality and safety.
• Participate in all safety initiatives.
• Follow good manufacturing practices.
• Report any damage to facility, trailer or racks from all personnel.
• Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
• Ability to push, pull, lift and / or carry up to 50 pounds on a frequent basis and up to 75 pounds on an occasional basis.
• Ability to frequently bend, stand, stoop and grasp.
• Ability to manipulate small parts on a consistent basis.
• Must be able and willing to work overtime as needed.
