Responsibilities Work in the Labor and Delivery unit of an acute care hospital Care for high-risk obstetric and culturally diverse patient populations RNs circulate on cesarean sections Night shift position, 3x12 hour shifts from 18 : 00 to 06 : 30 Every other weekend required No on-call requirement Floating required between hospital units and potentially to affiliate hospitals nearby Epic charting system experience required Responsible for circulating during cesarean sections and providing care for high-risk obstetric patients Must be willing to float between sister facilities in the state as needed Must be willing to work 2 out of 3 major holidays : Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year Scrubs in any solid color are acceptable, with Royal Blue or Navy preferred Parking is free on the first day, with assignment parking provided during orientation Online modules required pre-start and annually, averaging 16 hours to complete RTO must be included at time of application; submit all time off requests prior to assignment Requirements Active CA RN license required at time of consideration Minimum 1 year of recent Labor & Delivery RN experience required Certifications required : ACLS, BLS, and NRP References : Minimum of 2 supervisory references covering 1 year within the last 3 years, in a comparable specialty or setting Epic EMR experience required First-time travelers accepted Candidates must not have been a permanent staff member at this facility within the last 3 months Candidates must not reside within a 50-mile radius of the facility for travel consideration Benefits High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts American Traveler Job ID P-615671.
