The general purposes of the Alcohol & Tobacco Commission's work, as defined by law, are :

- To regulate and limit the manufacture, sale, possession, and use of alcohol and alcoholic beverages
- To provide for the raising of revenue
Role Overview :
This position serves as a permit processor within the Specialty Permit Division of the Alcohol and Tobacco Commission, reporting directly to the Manager of the Division. The Program Coordinator is responsible for performing a variety of administrative tasks to support the Law Enforcement and permit processing Divisions.
Responsibilities include :
Compile information relative to the assigned program area.Coordinate correspondence for information requests.Organize and maintain current and historical files related to the program.Organize program reports, applications, and maintain consultative services.Maintain and organize program assets.Prepare all program related training materials.The job profile is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties or responsibilities that are required of the employee. What You'll Need for Success :
General knowledge of the program area.Basic knowledge of the rules and regulations pertaining to the assigned program area and its affects upon other agency operations.Ability to gather and compile program materials.Ability to communicate effectively.Ability to operate effectively in a group decision-making process.Tact in dealing with other agency personnel and the public.Basic knowledge of accounting principles.Able to perform essential functions with or without reasonable accommodation.Supervisory Responsibilities / Direct Reports :
This role may be utilized in a supervisory capacity based on agency needs.
