JOB TITLE :

Fire Extinguisher Technician

SUMMARY :

The Fire Extinguisher Technician inspects portable fire extinguishers and E-Lights for customers. The technician will drive to customer sites to perform inspections on the extinguishers and E-lights.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :

Test, inspectportable fire extinguishers, installation of new fire extinguishers and swapping out extinguishers due for service

Inspect,emergency exit lighting systems at customer locations

Complete inspection reports online

Performs other related duties as assigned by management.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES :

This job has no supervisory responsibilities.

QUALIFICATIONS :

High school diploma or general education degree (GED), or one to three months related experience and / or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Certificates, licenses and registrations required :

MA Certificate of Competency 46 – license for portable fire extinguishers

Knowledge of NFPA codes a plus

Must maintain a valid drivers license and clean driving record

OSHA 10 card
