Overview
The Associate General Counsel provides legal advice, services and support to the organization under the supervision of General Counsel in all aspects of the company's operations. This position will be actively involved in a wide array of legal matters, including, but not limited to contracts, product-related risk management, intellectual property interests, regulatory compliance, human resource matters, insurance requirements, and corporate governance.
Job Functions
- Assists in negotiating, drafting and reviewing legal documents, contracts, and agreements
- Provides advice on corporate governance and legal issues
- Conducts legal research and analysis on various issues
- Ensures compliance with all local and national laws and regulations
- Maintains a library of contract templates, historical legal files, and other related documentation
- Supports the legal department in managing internal and external legal sources
- Assists with compliance matters and ensures that the organization operates within legal guidelines
- Supports the legal department in litigation matters
- Works closely with internal departments to provide legal guidance and support on various matters
- Keeps abreast of legal developments and updates relevant to the organization's operations
- Maintains absolute confidentiality
- Performs other duties and / or tasks as assigned

Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school4 years minimum of relevant legal experience in related fieldAdmission to practice in the State of Wisconsin and license to practice in good standingTravel needs for this role are minimal and rare (Physical Demands
