Senior IT DBA Specialist

A company is looking for an IT DBA Specialist Sr to oversee database administration and ensure smooth transitions to new technology.

Key Responsibilities

Develop, implement, and maintain the Enterprise database system in a UNIX / NT environment

Conduct structured testing of database designs and implement policies and procedures for database administration

Assist with data and database administration, including hardware and software evaluation and installation

Required Qualifications

Associate degree in a computer-related field with two years of relevant experience; Bachelor's degree preferred

One year of experience in Enterprise development (Oracle, Progress, or SQL)

Extensive experience in Oracle performance tuning and database architecture

Familiarity with high availability configurations such as Oracle RAC and Data Guard

Experience with performance tuning in other RDBMS platforms like MariaDB, PostgreSQL, and SAP HANA
