Job Description
Primary Purpose : Perform varied production tasks under the regular direction of the Shift Supervisor, including but not limited to operation and observation of automated machines, completing lot changeovers, staging raw materials and finished production, responding to machine faults, completing lot production records, packaging finished product, and maintaining a clean workspace for the production of various medical device products in a temperature and cleanliness-controlled environment.

Primary Responsibilities :
- Observe automated machine operation to respond to tote changes, system faults, and lot completion / changeovers.
- Complete lot changeovers including loading material, ensuring material alignment, machine setting and starting continuous operation.
- Stage and replenish raw materials and exchange product totes to enable continuous operation of automated machines.
- Package, label, and stage finish product per specification.
- Accurately and legibly complete production records including raw material information, machine settings, yields, and product labeling per outlined procedure.
- Perform periodic visual checks on product for inconsistencies or abnormal appearance.
- Report and with product, raw materials, or production cells to technical resources or Production Supervisor as soon as practically possible to ensure safety, quality, and efficiency standards are kept. assist with resolving issues whenever possible.
- Provide machine support for fellow co-workers as needed throughout the shift and during breaks, assuring continuous operation and quick resolution to machine issues.
- Work alongside fellow employees in an automated environment. Help guide new team members so that they understand work assignments and methods of completing tasks.
- Maintain a clean workstation area throughout the shift and leave a clean work area at the end of every shift.
- Participate in all training programs, as required.
- Other duties not normally performed may be assigned on a temporary or permanent basis when production requirements dictate changes in duties or insufficient work is available in normal job classification.

Must be willing to be trained and follow procedures.Must have good interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate constructively and cooperatively with team members and management employeesAbility to work well within a team environment and capable of completing tasks with minimal supervision.Ability to lift and carry at least 10lbs – 50lbs. (Reels and Totes)Push / Pull Max Force of 10lbs-25lbs. (Carts and Pallets)Postures / Movements – Sitting, standing in place, walking, bending, grasping and finder manipulation.Equipment, Machines, Tools, Vehicles used – Tweezers, Totes, Carts, Pallets, Jacks and Shears.Preferred
Previous experience in a Manufacturing environment is a plusExperience working in a fast-paced operational environment with constant interaction with operators, technicians and equipment is a plusExperienced knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practice within the Medical Industry is a plus.
