Field Service Controls Engineer

Overview

We\'re seeking the Field Service Controls Engineer to support the programming, installation, and startup of PLC and robotic control systems in the North Carolina area. This role also includes troubleshooting and providing field service for these systems. You\'ll work on innovative automation projects, tackling complex challenges for a variety of industries. How You\'ll Contribute

• Create, read, and troubleshoot pneumatic and electrical drawings and bills of material using AutoCAD Electrical.
• Develop advanced programs to control devices and machines.
• Perform electrical testing with voltmeters and ammeters.
• Apply proper wiring practices to ensure safe, reliable systems.
• Design ladder logic and machine controls with strong proficiency in related software.
• Collaborate with customers and internal teams to define machine performance requirements.
• Maintain a thorough understanding of electrical and pneumatic devices.
• Mentor and support less experienced engineers to build team capability.
