Keller North America is seeking a Senior Accountant to join the corporate Finance and Accounting team, based in Hanover, MD. The position will focus primarily on project accounting and project / process controls, with exposure to personnel across the organization and various processes that support our operations.
Responsibilities
- Project accounting
- Responsible for accounting activities for designated projects including understanding of job cost data capture, billings, and sales agreements / contracts
- Work with project management to ensure costs are recorded in the correct week and revenue is recognized in accordance with IFRS15
- Work with project management to ensure financial project accounting is accurate, compare monthly project forecasts and investigate variances to budget
- Participate in ad hoc projects analysis as necessary
- Occasional travel
- Regional accounting
- Ensure financial results are in accordance with IFRS and internal policies and procedures
- Analyze and investigate variances to budget and to prior month of indirect job costs, shop costs, equipment costs, and general and administrative costs
- Prepare accounting period-end entries and maintain accounting records in accordance with company policies and internal controls, including relevant reconciliations
- Assist with the corporate monthly close process
- Provide support and justification for audit requests
- Other ad hoc inquiries as they arise

Salary Range : $85-95K per year
Actual salary will be based on a variety of factors including relevant internal and external experience, knowledge, skills, scope of job, geographical location or other factors permitted by law
