Locum Cardiologist - Wausau, Wisconsin Inpatient Setting 7 On / 7 Off Schedule IMLC Welcome Opportunity Snapshot : A leading hospital in Wausau, Wisconsin, is seeking a Board Certified Cardiologist for inpatient locum coverage. This position features a 7-on / 7-off schedule, with manageable call responsibilities, and is open to candidates holding or eligible through the IMLC. Key Details : Coverage Dates : ASAP - June 30, 2026 Schedule : 7 on / 7 off 11-hour days with 2 nights of call per week Setting : Inpatient - Hospital-based Call : STEMI and emergent TVP coverage only Call Ratio : 2 of 7 nights Call Response Time : Immediate or within 10 minutes Patient Volume : 25-30 patients per shift Admissions : 2 per day Call Back Percentage : 5-10% Hospital Size : 220 beds Trauma Level : II EMR : Epic Requirements : Board Certified in Cardiology - Required Active Wisconsin Medical License or IMLC - Accepted ACLS Certification - Required Know someone who may be a fit?
