Inventory Control Specialist

Primary Job Duties & Responsibilities :
- Maintains the Inventory Control area under general supervision and conducts routine audits on department processes.
- Communicates deviations from expected outcomes to internal teams.
- Assists with the collection of feedback from employees across the department to ensure the technical support function is responsive to business needs.
- Compiles and reconciles discrepancies found with book inventory to ensure products remain in-stock.
- Maintains invoices, returns, warranty claims, and / or exchanges for the distribution department through an internal electronic system.
- Collects billing, pricing for service quotes, and cycle counts for domestically and internationally shipped items.
- Inspects stock items within the distribution department for wear, tear, or defects and reports to supervisors.
- Communicates with the distribution team on shipments and organizes receipts on a daily basis and updates internal logs.
- Monitors processes and maintains inventory control records for accuracy and efficiency; determines the root cause of inventory variances.
- Observes team performance within the distribution department and delivers performance evaluations with feedback with recommendations.
Education : High school diploma or equivalent required.
Prior Relevant Work Experience : 0-1 year
Essential Qualifications : Basic awareness of problem solving and decision making skills

Pay Range : $17.00 - $25.65
