Home Loan Specialist / Loan Closing Assistant

We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Home Loan Specialist / Loan Closing Assistant to support our Closing, Funding, and Financial departments. This role is ideal for recent graduates or individuals looking to start their career in the mortgage industry. You'll be the first point of contact for brokers and settlement agents, helping ensure smooth and compliant loan closings.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle 15-25 inbound calls daily from brokers and settlement agents regarding closing questions.
• Respond to portal messages and inquiries with professionalism and accuracy.
• Perform back-office tasks including document preparation, title clearance, and appraisal eligibility.
• Troubleshoot third-party orders (title, appraisal, hazard, flood cert, credit, etc.).
• Evaluate loan applications for product guideline and regulatory compliance.
• Collaborate with internal departments to ensure files are ready to close.
• Maintain accurate records of loan closing activities.
• Provide exceptional customer service via phone, email, and chat.
• Demonstrate behaviors aligned with our company's culture and values.

The pay range for this position is $23.00 / hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
