Now Hiring : LPN Licensed Practical Nurse
Responsibilities :
Administer medication and perform treatments to residents accurately and safely in accordance with their individual care plan and physician's orders.Perform treatments and procedures, as assigned, per physician’s orders, strictly within the LPN scope of practice for the state of Wisconsin.Accurately report and record the resident’s condition and all provided care, paying close attention to signs and symptoms which may be indicative of a change in status, and communicate these changes to the Unit Manager / RN.Participate in the development and revision of the interdisciplinary plan of care.Ensure the well-being and satisfaction of residents is maintained throughout the shift.Supervise certified nursing assistants (CNAs) and ensure their adherence to established policies and procedures.Perform all duties in accordance with local, state, and federal guidelines, as well as the facility's policies and procedures.Other duties as assigned by Unit Manager, Director of Nursing, and Administrator.Qualifications :
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, or as a productive and collaborative part of a team.Basic computer knowledge for electronic medical record (EMR) charting and documentation.Previous long-term care experience is preferred but not required—we welcome motivated new graduates!A compassionate, patient-centered approach to care.License :
