Billing Clerk (Temp-Hire Position) Department : Billing and Finance (for 3PL warehouse distribution company) Rate : $18.00 - $19.00 Hourly Work Site : Long Beach, CA Job Summary Responsible for keeping up with day-to-day billing processes regarding warehouse, trucking and yard charges. Create and issue invoices to customers and responsible for ensuring all customer requirements are met to invoice accurately, as well as, ensuring that billable charges are captured and completed in a timely manner. Responsible for updating accounting records with issued invoices, processed payments, new balances and customer information. Essential Functions Proficient in MS Office including word, excel and PowerPoint Proficient in V.I. billing process Proficient in Datex Footprint processes Electronic filing and paper filing daily Communicate daily with Billing Manager on issues, concerns and problems
