Job description :
Manager of Financial and Administrative Applications, the Manager of Financial and Administrative Applications is accountable for ensuring the overall operational performance, reliability, and integrity of business-critical software applications, including integration between diverse applications and computer systems. Systems supported include Revenue Cycle, Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), Report Writing and Application Core Security. The manager works closely with the Director of Applications and other IT management to ensure stable and secure integrated system solutions, ongoing maintenance and support of these systems, and the evaluation and deployment of emergent and new technologies. The seasoned professional we seek will be experienced in application implementation, planning, priority setting, workload management, resource allocation, and project execution with consistency of on-time and well-planned project implementations. The manager will be responsible to successfully manage, direct, supervise, train, and evaluate staff.
Requirements :
Bachelor’s or equivalent required; a relevant advanced degree is a plus.
Minimum of 3-5 years’ experience in IT management level position in a health care setting.
Knowledgeable of application information technologies in health care. Significant experience implementing, integrating, and supporting financial, administrative, and other applications.
Experience with Cerner Millennium, Meditech Magic, Workday and Revenue Cycle systems including Optum Computer Assisted Coding and Clinical Document Improvement (CDI).
Excellent project management and vendor management skills.
Knowledgeable of hospital operations, tactical planning, project management, personnel management, and staff development.
Proven success managing a staff of 6-10 FTEs.
Requires excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong idea generation, analytical and judgment skills necessary.
Ability to manage multiple projects and tasks simultaneously.
Knowledge of interfaces, interface engines and integration standards is a plus.
