Key job functions :
- Tax return preparation and review
- Working with clients to review, complete, and edit their record keeping
- Tax research and planning
- Consulting on financial and tax matters

Understand tax technical issues commensurate with level of experiencePlan and execute the day-to-day activities of tax engagements of various clients in accordance with RubinBrown Client Service StandardsPrepare and / or review tax returns for business returns (partnership, "C" corporation, "S" corporation, Not-for-Profit) and individualsIdentify and communicate tax planning ideas for clients, including tax research, computations, and related documentationIdentify and communicate accounting matters to other engagement team membersIdentify performance improvement opportunitiesWork closely with and directly communicate with partners, managers, and other team members, in addition to client personnelSupervise the tax staff assigned to the engagement (if designated as In-Charge)Participate in the budget processPreferred Experience / Background / Skills :
Bachelor's / Master's degree in Accounting or related degree, CPA or other related certificationA minimum of two years of current and / or recent tax experience in public accountingStrong technical skills including the ability to effectively utilize technology and the commitment to learning in the technology environmentExcellent supervisory, analytical, and leadership abilityHave the ability to meet challenging client requirements, provide services, and possess strong communication, interpersonal, analytical, and research abilitiesProficiency in Microsoft Office programs (Word and Excel required)Excellent verbal and written communication skillsStrict adherence to professional ethicsAbility to successfully contribute to the success of a strategic business unit of the firmWorking Conditions :
The typical office hours are 8 : 00 a.m. to 5 : 00 p.m.Ability to work extra hours as determined by the workload and client expectationsTravel for this position will be approximately 5% of the yearAbility to sit for long periods of timeAbility to move throughout officeAbility to lift, carry, push, pull up to 10-30 poundsAbility to effectively communicate with clients, team members, etc.One Firm :
