Position Overview
We are seeking a Per Diem Medical Assistant to join our team and provide vital support to our clinical staff and patients. This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented and compassionate professional who is looking for flexibility while making a difference in the lives of others.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist physicians, nurse practitioners, and nurses with patient care
- Take and record vital signs, patient histories, and prepare patients for exams
- Collect specimens and perform point-of-care testing as directed
- Maintain accurate patient records in EMR systems
- Ensure exam rooms are stocked, sanitized, and prepared for daily use
- Provide patient education, instructions, and support in line with care plans
- Assist with administrative tasks such as scheduling, referrals, and follow-ups
