TSMC Arizona's first fab will operate leading-edge semiconductor process technology (N4); production starts in the first half of 2025. A second fab will use N3 and N2 process technology and be operational in 2028. A third fab will manufacture chips using 2nm or more advanced technology, with production by the end of the decade. Responsibilities
- Play a pivotal role in supporting process piping, mechanical, or electrical systems for semiconductor FAB construction projects. Participate in creating installation procedures, check construction quality, and assist multidisciplinary teams to ensure smooth project execution and compliance.
- Develop and participate in the creation of installation procedures for process piping, mechanical, or electrical systems and provide instruction to contractors regarding these procedures.
- Verify construction quality for assigned systems by conducting on-site inspections to ensure compliance with specifications and standards.
- Tackle technical challenges and implement innovative solutions that enable project success.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary project teams, including project managers, schedulers, CAD designers, tool owners, and contractors, to support project deadlines and maintain quality standards.
- Provide technical guidance and assistance to contractors to ensure high-quality installations and efficiency during construction.
- Identify areas for process optimization and implement recommendations to improve construction quality and efficiency.
- Participate in projects related to the assigned discipline, assisting with planning, coordination, and execution.
- Create after-action reports (AAR) after incidents related to assigned systems and contribute to lessons learned.
- Other job-related duties as required by business needs.
Minimum Qualifications / Requirements
Education : Bachelor's degree in chemical engineering, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, or a related field.Technical Skills : Knowledge of AutoCAD and Navisworks.Interpersonal Skills : Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.), strong communication and interpersonal skills, proactive problem-solving, and ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team.Physical Requirements : Frequent grasping, manipulation, bending, stooping, squatting or reaching; desk-based computer work including data analysis and documentation.Training : N / AShift Expectations
Possibility of a compressed work week (4 days on, 3 days off; 3 days on, 4 days off) and occasional night shifts on a rotational basis.Scheduled night shifts and weekend on-call rotations in a 24 / 7 high-volume manufacturing environment.Night shift rotations are expected to be limited to no more than 4 months per calendar year.Standard work hours : Monday through Friday.Application Consideration
