As an Accounting Associate (AP / AR) , you'll be part of a collaborative finance team that ensures the accuracy and integrity of our financial operations. Aside from the core function of processing, reconciling, reporting and analyzing AP / AR accounts, you'll play a key role in managing vendor relationships, supporting internal teams, and driving process improvements that help Room & Board remain a high-performing, agile organization.

Location : 4600 Olson Memorial Highway, Golden Valley, MN 55422

Please note : This role is hybrid - in the office 3-days (T, W & Th). Not considering remote.

You will share your talents as an Accounting Associate (AP / AR) in the following ways :

• Accurately input and route vendor invoices for approval and resolve any issues proactively.
• Process return-to-vendor documentation and staff expense reports.
• Manage vendor onboarding, credit applications, and weekly payment runs (check, ACH, wire).
• Reconcile daily banking activity, credit cards, financing programs, and gift cards.
• Provide monthly financial oversight, reporting, and analysis of AR balances.
• Support month-end and year-end close processes in collaboration with the broader Finance team.
• Identify and implement process improvements, including system upgrades.
• Maintain strong internal controls across AP / AR processes.
• Assist with external audits and business partner data requests.
• Complete and file annual 1099s.
• Interact with a variety of external and internal partners.
