Overview

Guest Advocate (Cashier or Front of Store Attendant / Cart Attendant) (T0250) at Target. Starting hourly rate : $18.75 USD per hour.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate a service culture that prioritizes the guest service experience by delivering the service standard.
• Create a welcoming experience by greeting guests as you complete daily tasks.
• Engage with guests to help solve their specific needs and resolve concerns.
• Inform guests about current promotions, store activities, and events.
• Be knowledgeable about tools, products, and services available in the total store, and specific to your area, to solve issues and improve guest experience.
• Thank guests and acknowledge their decision to shop at Target.
• Know and speak to the benefits of Target Loyalty programs and assist with application or sign-up as needed.
• Scan and bag items efficiently, accurately, and in compliance with safety standards and company best practices.
• Minimize guest wait time while maintaining service quality and accuracy.
• Explain how to use features and offerings within the Target App, including Wallet; assist with Order Pick-Up, Drive Up, and online ordering; direct guests to enroll and use these features.
• Assist with returns following register prompts; collaborate with leaders as needed while following Target's policies and procedures.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area; manage baskets, hangers, and unpurchased items as needed.
• Stock supplies during store hours while remaining available to assist guests.
• Operate in a safe, ethical, and compliant manner; follow safety policies and report hazards.
• Support guest services such as order pick up (OPU), Drive-up (DU) orders, and DU returns while complying with applicable laws (including adult beverage regulations where relevant).
• Other duties as assigned based on business needs.
