Warehouse Manager

Job Summary
The Warehouse Manager oversees all aspects of warehouse operations, inventory control, and logistics for NLX Beverage Solutions, LLC. This role is responsible for ensuring the efficient, accurate, and safe movement, storage, and distribution of raw materials, packaging, and finished goods within the facility. The Warehouse Manager leads and develops a high-performing team to maintain optimal inventory accuracy, support production schedules, and uphold best-in-class shipping and receiving standards. This position plays a key role in driving operational excellence, improving warehouse processes, and ensuring compliance with all safety, quality, and regulatory standards in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Direct and coordinate all receiving, warehousing, and shipping activities, ensuring compliance with operational procedures and SQF Level 3 food safety standards
- Lead daily warehouse operations by leveraging the shipping schedule to assign tasks and prioritize the efficient flow of inbound and outbound trailers
- Schedule and allocate warehouse personnel effectively to ensure timely completion of all loading and unloading activities across all shifts
- Collaborate closely with corporate counterparts to ensure all trailer movements are executed on schedule and with accuracy, as well as partnering with other department managers to support seamless execution of production and warehouse activities across the facility
- Ensure all outbound shipments meet quality expectations, including pallet integrity, product condition, trailer cleanliness, weight compliance, and shipment accuracy
- Verify that all incoming raw materials and packaging supplies are received in acceptable condition, with appropriate documentation and inspection
- Develop, implement, and monitor inventory control procedures to ensure timely, accurate inventory transactions in the ERP / WMS system
- Ensure all departmental forms and logs are completed accurately using Good Documentation Practices in line with SQF / GMP requirements
- Oversee activities in relation to the Daily Shipping Schedule to validate finished goods inventory levels and prepare for upcoming shipments
- Foster clear and professional communication with truck drivers to maintain efficient dock flow and positive carrier relations
- Contribute to continuous improvement by creating and maintaining SOPs, Work Instructions, and operational forms for the Warehouse and Logistics departments
- Lead, coach, and mentor warehouse and logistics personnel; manage performance through goal setting, feedback, performance appraisals, and disciplinary actions as needed
- Monitor the physical condition of the warehouse, inspect equipment regularly, initiate repairs, and ensure adherence to cleaning and maintenance schedules
- Participate in departmental budget development; monitor expenditures, analyze variances, and implement corrective actions to meet financial targets
- Manage ordering of warehouse supplies in accordance with budget constraints and operational needs
- Serve as the primary contact for forklift-related issues; maintain strong communication with the maintenance provider to ensure a safe and fully operational fleet
- Perform all other duties as assigned
Education and Skills
Bachelor's Degree in logistics, supply chain management, business administration, or related field preferred10+ years of manufacturing and / or warehouse experienceMinimum of 5 years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment requiredExperience with ERP / WMS systems preferred SAGE experience a plusStrong verbal and written communication skills in English. Must be able to interpret and convey safety procedures, technical documents, and operational instructions effectivelyProven ability to lead, coach, and develop team members. Experience in resolving conflicts, facilitating team performance, and maintaining high morale and accountabilityDemonstrated aptitude for identifying process issues and implementing practical solutions under minimal supervisionSkilled in prioritizing tasks, managing shift workflows, and adapting to shifting production demandCompetent in basic mathematic including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division. Able to work with weights, measures, and calculatorsComfortable working with basic computer systems, production interfaces, and inventory tracking toolsFamiliarity with manufacturing safety protocols and basic food production principles is a plusReliable, hands-on, and adaptable with a team-oriented attitude. Employees must be able to work in a dynamic manufacturing environment that may include exposure to odors, dust, moderate noise levels, and fluctuations in temperature and ventilation. Work environment may involve exposure to inclement weather. Appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) must be worn at all times, which may include but is not limited to : safety glasses, steel-toed shoes, gloves, hairnets, uniforms, and face shields, as required by specific job duties and safety protocols.
