Four Star Greenhouse is looking to hire CDL A OTR Solo Truck Drivers!

At Least 2 Years of Verifiable OTR Experience Required!

Must be a resident of either Michigan or Ohio

Pay Ranges from $76,836 - $100,748 Per Year

Average $89,092 ((Mileage + Hourly + Bonus Pay)

Potential Safety Bonus - $1,800 (paid out quarterly)

JOB SUMMARY :

Transport Four Star horticulture

products in the Midwest U.S. and across the country utilizing assigned Tractor

and Trailer equipment.  Operate in safe

manner compliant with all DOT and company regulations.  Interact with internal staff and customers in

a professional and positive manner.

Home Time Minimums :

• (January–June) : Weekly home minimum 1 night.

Touch Deliveries

(July- December) : Out 14 days (+ / - 2 days)

1.5

days off for  every week  out.

Fueling

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS :

Assist Dock teams

as appropriate with loading and unloading of product at Four Star and customer

sites.

Carry out

instructions given orally and in writing, including those on shipping documents

and routing plans

Conduct a

thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspection as required by Department of

Transportation (DOT).

Communicate all

incidents of delays or problems with equipment or goods to Logistics Supervisor

or Logistics Manager.

Report any

customer complaints or concerns without delay to Logistics Supervisor or

Logistics Manager.

Immediately report

all accidents, injuries or incidents to Logistics Supervisor or Logistics

Manager and complete all necessary DOT required protocols.

Complete all

necessary DOT required and company required reports related to moving of

products and equipment, including ELD compliance.

Report any change

to your license status to Logistics Supervisor or Logistics Manager.

Perform OTR

Linehaul loads for contract loads during off-season months (June-December).

QUALIFICATIONS :

Must meet all DOT requirements as a CDL- A driver

Minimum of 1 to 2 years of driving experience as a CDL-A driver

Must have minimum 2-Yrs of verifiable Over-the-Road commercial driving experience

Must have driving record clear of DUI / DWI or reckless driving charges in last five years

Must NOT have any refusals or failed drug screenings listed on FMCSA’s Drug & Alcohol Clearinghouse portal

HEALTH & PHYSICAL

REQUIREMENTS :

Ability to pass DOT drug screening procedures including MVR, PSP, DOT

physical, criminal background check.

Ability to move / pull carts

on 4-wheel castors, weighing over 200 lbs.

Drivers will transport our horticulture products and other contracted linehaul loads to customer destinations across the U.S. primarily in the Midwest, East Coast, Southeast, and Central U.S. regions covering annual mileage in the range of 75K- 95K for solos (150k-175k for teams) per year. Drivers are front line ambassadors for Four Star with our customers. Drivers will assist dock teams as appropriate with loading and unloading of horticultural products at Four Star and customer sites. Most linehaul loads will be no touch.
