Hoffer Plastics is hiring for " Shipping Manager ", " 1st shift ".

Starting Pay $65k - $80K (based on experience)

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES :

o Motivate and influence others for improved productivity and performance.

o Effectively handle problem employees; assess performance, coach and counsel, and administer corrective discipline as needed.

o Communicate effectively with employees and all levels of management.

o Evaluate all subordinates on a regular basis to ensure proper feedback in the performance of their duties.

o Enforcement of safety rules and wearing of prescribed protective clothing or items.

o Maintains work area in neat and orderly manner.

o Conducts Safety and cleanliness audits as required.

o Assures compliance with all GMP policies.

▪ Daily Operations - The Shipping Manager is responsible for the proper management of the Shipping group on a day-to-day basis. This includes the following :

o Assure that no late shipments are made due to shortfalls within the department.

o Avoid clerical / labeling errors that result in the customer receiving wrong or mis-labeled parts.

o Ensure that subordinates are adequately trained in their jobs and cross trained to provide coverage during absences.

o Identify problem areas and make any necessary adjustments.

o Continue to grow job specific knowledge and use tools to identify and assist with continuous improvement.

o Comply with safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly work areas
