Application Developer

ETAS Inc. has an upcoming opportunity for an Application Developer (Direct Hire) position at our office in Lexington, KY.

Enterprise Technical Assistance Services, Inc. (ETAS), is a wholly owned subsidiary of Professional Project Services, Inc (Pro2Serve). ETAS was formed and dedicated to support the Department of Energy (DOE) Portsmouth / Paducah Project Office (PPPO) with technical and management services contributing to the safe and cost-effective implementation of the One PPPO mission.

The parent company, Pro2Serve, is a nationally recognized environmental, technical, and engineering services firm dedicated to providing critical environmental management services to reduce the Nation's environmental liabilities and infrastructure engineering services in support of our Nation's security. We support the energy, defense, and science markets through responsive, cost-effective execution of critical environmental, facilities and infrastructure, and nuclear defense and nonproliferation projects.

Job Description

Design, architect, and develop web applications in Visual Studio using ASP.NET Core MVC and Blazor WebAssembly from the ground up. Follow the software development lifecycle and Agile methodology to deliver solutions that meet customer requirements.

Job Requirements

Bachelors degree in computer science or IT from an accredited college or university and five years experience or ten years IT experience

Experience with developing specific computer code and design and development of intranet sites

Specific experience with .NET and Microsoft SharePoint

Direct, hands-on development experience with Visual Studio, C#, ASP.NET Core MVC, Blazor WebAssembly, and Entity Framework

Experience with Windows Server and IIS management

Experience with SQL Server and SQL Server Management Studio (SSMS)

Experience with creating and consuming REST APIs

Experience with supporting legacy applications

Ability to obtain and maintain a Homeland Security Presidential Directive (HSPD-12)

• Technical documentation creation and maintenance

This position may require the ability to obtain a government clearance.
