Days

Shift time 7a-7p

Census : 13-16

1-2 admits

No procedures, EM handles codes and procedures

Intubations done by EM, than can be transferred off-site

Non-Interventional Card onsite M-F

EMR : Epic

Rate : $200 / hr

Site 3

Community hospital with academic ties

3 hospitalists

1 days APP

1 swing APP 2p-12a

1 nocturnist

Total hospitalist census : 40-60 (lower in the summers)

Days

Shift time 7a-7p

Census : 15-17 (10-11 in summer)

1-2 admits, round robin admissions

Swing APP covers admits after 2p

Open ICU

No procedures, EM handles codes and procedures

ICU co-managed by LSU pulm / CC team, 730a-5p

Rate : $200 / hr

Nights

Shift time 7p-7a

4-6 admits

Swing APP coverage 2p-12a

Open ICU

No procedures, EM handles codes and procedures

Subspecialties : IR, Card, Neph, Palliative

EMR : Epic

Televirtualist option during heavy volume

Rate : $220 / hr
