JOB DEFINITION :

The Clinical Services Specialist I will provide community-based therapeutic intervention for individuals who are experiencing substance use or co-occurring disorders, and will provide community-based substance use disorder treatment services using evidence-based, trauma-informed, and person-centered practices involved in Medication Assisted Treatment.

EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS :

Master's level education in social work or related field required (i.e., MSW or MHC). Application for and maintenance of highest-level professional licensure upon eligibility required. License or limited permit to practice (i.e., LMSW, MHC-LP, LCSW, LMHC) is preferred.

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED :

• One to three years' experience with substance use disorders is required; experience providing care in a community setting is preferred.
• Knowledge of substance use disorder prevention, treatment and referral is a must.
