UI / UX redesign of website

Empowered Vote is a nonprofit dedicated to increasing civic engagement and making government more transparent and accessible. We are seeking a skilled UI / UX designer to help refine and complete the redesign of our website landing page and two key features.

We currently have :

A live landing page at https : / / empowered.vote /

A WIP redesign in Figma for the landing page

An established style guide

Your role will include :

Refining the in-progress redesign of our landing page

Improving the UI for

Empowered Compass

(a feature nearly ready for release)

Leading a full UI rework for

Empowered Essentials

(next in our development pipeline)

Ensuring a cohesive and user-friendly experience across all pages

Ideal volunteer :

Experience with web UI / UX design (Figma proficient)

Ability to work collaboratively and provide thoughtful design feedback

Passion for civic engagement, transparency and public service a plus

Impact :

Your work will help shape a platform designed to give citizens clear, accessible tools to understand their government and take meaningful action.

Time commitment :

Flexible, but ideally 3-5 hours per week until redesign completion.
