Job Title : Machine Operator

Pay Rate : $17 / hr.

Shift : 3rd

Bilingual : Medical, Dental, AD&D

Key Responsibilities :

• Operate and monitor pistachio huller machinery, ensuring proper removal of hulls from freshly harvested nuts.
• Adjust huller settings to optimize throughput, cleanliness, and minimal nut damage.
• Inspect incoming loads for foreign material, excess moisture, or poor-quality products.
• Coordinate with the Harvest Team and forklift operators for continuous production flow.
• Conduct routine checks on belts, rollers, water systems, and dehulling equipment.
• Record and report throughput rates, downtime, and quality issues.
• Clean and sanitize hulling equipment daily or as needed , following food safety and sanitation protocols.
• Identify mechanical issues early and report them to maintenance for prompt repair.
• Comply with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), PPE requirements, and safety policies.
