Emergency Medicine Physician

We are seeking a Board-Certified (BC) Emergency Medicine Physician for an ongoing Locum Tenens opportunity at a Critical Access Hospital in Northeastern Wisconsin. This position offers a steady schedule with no call requirement. Assignment Details Specialty : Emergency Medicine Start Date : January 20, 2025 End Date : Ongoing Coverage Type : Emergency Department (ED) Call Requirement : No Call EMR : Epic Credentialing Timeline : 90 Days Facility and Volume Setting : Critical Access Hospital, part of a larger health system. Annual Volume : ED volume is 13,500 annually. Inpatient Census : Average daily IP census is 13 . Adjacent Urgent Care (UC) : The UC is considered part of the ED with an annual census of 14,500 . Staffing and Scope of Work ED Staffing : The ED is staffed with one MD / DO and an APC on some days . UC Staffing : The adjacent Urgent Care is staffed with two APCs . Required Skills : The provider must be proficient in Epic and all standard ED procedures, including : Intubations Central Lines Chest Tubes FAST Exams Lumbar Punctures (LPs) Transfers : A central phone number is available to assist with tertiary transfers. Required Certifications & License Certifications : ACLS, BLS, ATLS, PALS License : Must possess an active Wisconsin (WI) License or be eligible / licensed via the IMLC (Interstate Medical Licensure Compact) .
