BCforward is currently seeking a highly motivated Data Scientist 2 Professional Job for an opportunity at Remote - PST time zone!

Position Title : Data Scientist 2

Location : Remote - PST time zone

Anticipated Start Date : ASAP

Expected Duration : Contract of 08 Months and possible of extension

Job Type : Contract and Remote

Pay Range : $55 - $57 / hr. on w2

Please note that actual compensation may vary within this range due to factors such as location, experience, and job responsibilities, and does not encompass additional non-standard compensation (e.g., benefits, paid time off, per diem, etc.).

Top Skills :

• Years of Experience Required : 2-4 overall years of experience in the field. Sponsor is open to those with 4+ years if they align with the bill rate.
• Degrees or certifications required : Bachelor's degree in computer science, Statistics, Data Science, Mathematics, Econometrics, Economics, or related field is required to be eligible for this role.
• Minimum 2-4 years' experience with scripting language - SQL, Python, etc.
• Minimum 2-4 years' experience of working with big data - Cosmos, Databricks or equivalent.
• Minimum 2-4 years' experience with manipulating data and completing data analysis & reporting.

Job Description : Summary :

The main functions of this role are to enable the team in understanding the performance of the Edge business metrics, manipulate big data, do exploratory analyses of the data, apply statistical / ML modeling techniques to generate insights and hypotheses, build & maintain reports / dashboards and communicate the outcomes to the LT.
