Our client, a leading technology company, is seeking a Data Collection Technician to join their AR / VR Product Data Operations team. As a Data Collection Technician, you will be part of the AR / VR Product Data Operations team supporting cross-functional teams including project managers, stakeholders, and vendor partners. The ideal candidate will have excellent people skills, strong problem-solving abilities, and a self-motivated attitude which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title : Data Collection Technician

Location : Onsite – Fremont, CA

Duration

3 month contract, possible extension

Hours

9 AM - 5 : 30 PM PST

Pay Range : $25 / hour

What's the Job?

  • Conduct internal research studies, sourcing participants, guiding them through study procedures, and collecting data while maintaining confidentiality.
  • Compose consistent reports, flagging identified trends and issues found throughout data collections.
  • Drive project success by providing continual feedback for collection teams, both internal and external.
  • Recruit internal participants through various recruitment practices.
  • Support training and continual improvement of teams, conducting weekly QA audits, and authoring guidelines to promote clarity.

What's Needed?

  • Bachelor's degree in technology or behavioral science (e.g., human-computer interaction, psychology, statistics, cognitive science, information systems).
  • Self-motivated and able to manage workload independently.
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
  • Superior analysis, research, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in spreadsheet software (Google Sheets / Excel).
