Our client is partnering with a leading technology company to advance the future of autonomous vehicle development. We are seeking Vehicle Operators - Data Collection to play a critical role in testing, collecting data, and refining cutting-edge driving technology.

As part of this program, you will operate test vehicles in real-world conditions, gathering crucial data that directly impacts innovation. Shifts are available Friday-Tuesday and Thursday-Monday. Candidates must be able to work onsite in both Sunnyvale and San Francisco.

Location : Fremont, CA

Pay : Base pay range $25.00 / hr - $28.00 / hr. Pay range provided by Bee Talent Solutions. Your actual pay will be based on your skills and experience — talk with your recruiter to learn more.

Responsibilities

• Drive test vehicles for 4–8 hours daily on predefined routes, ensuring strict adherence to safety protocols.
• Perform routine vehicle inspections to confirm roadworthiness and address any maintenance needs.
• Conduct basic software operations to support real-time data collection.
• Accurately document observations, issues, and anomalies encountered during test runs.
• Collaborate with engineers, providing valuable feedback to enhance system performance.
• Assist with vehicle logistics, maintenance coordination, and storage.

Qualifications

Required skills : Driving Experience; Ability to drive for extended hours; Linux / Command Line

Ideal candidate notes : Experience driving and doing data collection for an autonomous vehicle company is beneficial, but AV experience is not required. Knowledge of AVs is important, though you will not be driving an AV.
