Ophthalmic Technician (min 2yr exp)

We are an established ophthalmology practice specializing in general eye care, oculoplastics, dry eye spa treatments, cataracts, and facial aesthetics in Eatontown, NJ. We are in need of an experienced ophthalmic technician to provide our patients with an excellent customer service experience. We provide general medical eyecare and cosmetic eyecare services to a wide range of patients. This position may require travel to our satellite location in Brick, NJ one day per week.

The ideal candidate will be a compassionate, energetic team player with an upbeat positive personality, a multi-tasker who enjoys working in the medical field and desires to provide an excellent patient care experience. We are a fast paced and growing practice. Exceptional customer service skills are a must. Minimum 2 years ophthalmology experience required.

Qualifications :

• min. 2 years experience in Ophthalmology
• Knowledge of Visual Fields, OCT, Refractions, and Fundus Photos
• Strong computer skills and knowledge of EMR Software
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
• Demonstrated interest in quality improvement
