Groundworks is seeking a talented Engineer to join our team!

Groundworks strives to provide a world-class customer experience. The Engineer will support the Engineering Team by assisting the Administrative, Production, and Sales Teams to drive revenue, reduce costs, and improve quality, aligned with our company culture.

Job Responsibilities

• Review engineering plans, oversee production, and prepare permit submission packages.
• Collaborate with engineers and drafting teams to organize, prepare, and review permit submissions.
• Interact with Certified Field Inspectors to develop work scopes.
• Perform site visits for engineering evaluations, especially for complex projects, and prepare reports and repair designs as needed.
• Work with Production Crews to resolve construction issues caused by unforeseen site conditions and confirm as-built documentation.
• Interpret regional or local building codes.
• Communicate with municipal officials regarding ongoing and completed projects.
• Maintain professional licensing through continuing education.
• Develop and deliver training to Admin, Production, and Sales teams, both in person and remotely.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
